The Cleaning Corporation has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, and forced labour in any form. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing effective systems and controls to safeguard against any form of exploitation within our operations and supply chain.

The Cleaning Corporation is a specialist cleaning and environmental services group operating across the United Kingdom through nine specialist divisions: MaidSense, EagleEye DeepCleaners, GlassNinjas, The JetMen, Carpet Mage, Facade Rangers, BioPatrol, InduSpartans, and Dream Colours. We employ Specialist Technicians directly and engage a network of approved subcontractors to deliver our services.

We maintain a framework of policies that reinforce our commitment to ethical practice:

• Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy: sets out our zero-tolerance stance and the expectations we place on all personnel and partners.
• Recruitment Policy: ensures fair recruitment practices, right-to-work verification, and no recruitment fees charged to workers.
• Whistleblowing Policy: enables any employee or contractor to report concerns safely and confidentially.
• Supplier Code of Conduct: sets out the ethical and compliance standards required of our supply chain.

We conduct risk-based due diligence on our supply chain and subcontractor network. This includes verifying business legitimacy, right-to-work documentation, employment practices, and payment of at least the National Minimum Wage. High-risk suppliers are subject to enhanced assessment, and we require all subcontractors to confirm their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We recognise that the cleaning sector can present elevated risks of labour exploitation, particularly where subcontracting, agency labour, or low-paid work is involved. We assess these risks across our divisions and geographic footprint, focusing our monitoring where the risk is greatest. We are committed to continuous improvement in identifying and mitigating these risks.

We provide modern slavery awareness training to relevant staff, particularly those involved in recruitment, procurement, and operations management. This ensures they can identify the signs of exploitation and understand the reporting pathways available to them.

We measure the effectiveness of our approach through the following indicators:

• Percentage of subcontractors screened for modern slavery compliance.
• Number of modern slavery concerns reported and acted upon.
• Completion rates for staff awareness training.

Where non-compliance is identified, we take appropriate action, which may include requiring remediation or terminating the relationship.
